I started my journey in student journalism as a staff writer for The Reporter at Miami Dade College, where I wrote mainly forum and entertainment articles. After transferring to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I joined The Daily Tar Heel newspaper as a Lifestyle Reporter, where I first emersed myself in the role of news reporting. I am regularly assigned events to cover, with locations spanning from the college campus to other parts of the Triangle area.
